Why reading about contemporary art?

It is almost a common belief the fact that contemporary Art does not have anything to deal with our daily life. Most of the people have quite happy lives without having given much attention in their existence to any work of Art in general, and they consider this specific world like something utterly disconnected to their own reality.

This is a problem connected just with our habits: we are inclined to accept everything that has already been written in text books and put into Museums, but we still have do not accepted the idea that consuming Art (possibly made today too, still being made or made in the recent past), is a way to increase the quality of our time, in terms of knowledge, leisure time, and simple visual pleasure.

The attitude towards the Contemporary Art world should be simply of curiosity. And if we feel like we do not have the tools to understand it, it is a healthy way to fill this lack trying to get the habit to read about Art. A lot of different professional talks about Art today on line, so it is a matter of choosing a path, and following the white rabbit into a deeper hole, where hopefully somebody is going to show us the most beautiful wonders.

My aim here is to talk about what I think is important to share publicly and about what I like in terms of visual stimulus. I have had the chance so much that the time has come to leave tracks of what I get to encounter in this journey in the world of Images. There is so much to know and to talk about that I am assuring the reader that will found a personal selection of "the best around".
